The Etosha National Park is Namibia's premier game-viewing destination. It is the only National Park in Namibia offering a 'big five' game experience. The central point of the Park is the enormous and desolate Etosha Pan; the bush and grasslands surrounding the Pan support a surprisingly high concentration of plains game and, during the dry winter months, huge herds of springbok, zebra, and wildebeest gather to drink at the few permanent watering holes. With the vast pan as backdrop, these concentrations of wildlife make for some of Africa's most interesting and spectacular wildlife sightings.
